Ford Ranger PX Wiring Harness Protector / Spacer

A simple preventative solution to a known Ford Ranger wiring harness wear point.

On PX Rangers equipped with the 2.2L and 3.2L Duratorq diesel engines, the engine wiring harness passes across the front of the engine near the timing cover. Over time, engine vibration can cause the harness to rub against the metal beneath it, wearing through the protective loom and potentially damaging the wiring inside.

Damage to this harness can result in intermittent electrical faults, engine fault codes, sensor or injector issues, and costly wiring repairs. But GridShift has you covered - eliminating the problem for good!

How It Works

The GridShift Wiring Harness Protector spaces the factory harness away from the engine, preventing contact with the area that causes the wear. No cutting or modifications required! Lift wiring harness, install guard, zip-tie to secure!

Rather than simply adding another protective layer around the harness, the spacer removes the source of the problem by maintaining clearance between the wiring and engine.

Not suitable for the PX3 2.0L Bi-Turbo engine.
