The factory suction cup mount supplied with the ScanGauge III can be unreliable in real-world driving conditions. Over time it loosens, bounces on rough roads, and in extreme heat it may detach entirely. When mounted on the windscreen it can also obstruct the driver’s field of view near the A-pillar.

The GridShift Garage ScanGauge III A-Pillar Mount was designed specifically to solve these problems.

By eliminating unnecessary adjustability and mounting the ScanGauge directly to the existing A-pillar grab handle, this system provides a stable and repeatable mounting position that dramatically reduces movement and vibration while driving.

The mount positions the ScanGauge high and to the right of the driver, improving visibility around the A-pillar while keeping the display within easy reach. The viewing angle has been carefully engineered so the screen is not aimed directly at the driver’s eyes, reducing potential glare while maintaining excellent readability.
